Tripilopicus, 'The City in the Sea' : This city represents the city of Limerick in Ireland. It is located at the mouth of the Shannon, Ireland's biggest river. The Shannon flows out into the Atlantic Sea.
Limerick has a bad public profile in Ireland. It is often associated with gangland feuds, unsafe council estates and violent killings. Somewhere along the way, it acquired the moniker, 'Stab City'. But for many people Limerick city is home. This is true for Tricycle. Although the city itself is quite beautiful and host to a selection of real treasures, the real city is located primarily in the spirit of the Limerick people. They are smart, friendly, unassuming. Most important of all, they possess a great sense of humour which they often turn on themselves. There is much to love in Limerick city. It is the home of boot-tackies and go go's.
